IDPH: 77,246 new cases of COVID-19 over the past week

SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) Thursday reported 77,246 new confirmed and probable cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Illinois, including an increase of 318 deaths since December 17, 2021.
