NFIB Survey: Small business optimism is at a record low

JEFFERSON CITY – The NFIB Small Business Optimism Index was unchanged in April, remaining at 93.2 and the fourth consecutive month below the 48-year average of 98. Mo’s spring turkey season ended with 36,251 birds harvested

Mississippi River is expected to fall below flood stage today

ST. LOUIS – The National Weather Service in St. Louis has continued its flood warning for the Mississippi River at Chester. At 10:30 a.m. Wednesday the stage was 29.8 feet, 2.8 feet above the 27.0 foot flood stage.   The river is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 26.0
