Margaret Elizabeth Ritter, 93, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at Independence Care Center.
She was born April 20, 1933 in Ste. Genevieve, MO to Frank and Cecilia (Roth) Bauman.
Margaret and Stanley Ritter were married June 4, 1955 at Sacred Heart Church in Ozora, MO and blessed with 70 years of marriage.
Margaret was a homemaker. She loved embroidery, cooking, canning, gardening and quilting. Above all, she enjoyed taking care of Stanley and her family.
She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno, MO.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Mary (James) Chappius, Linda (David) Billings, Lori (Eric) Sutterer; two sisters, Stella Mueller, Hilda Kraenzle; five grandchildren, Michelle (Delbert) Riehn, Brent (Jody) Bohnert, Ashley (Kyle) Kraft, Hannah Reagan, Katelyn Sutterer; six great-grandchildren, Kelly Marler, Gabriel Kraft, Zachary & Jordan Riehn, Brody & Jonah Bohnert; three great great-grandchildren, Evie, Colt & Eryn Marler.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Catherine Bert; one sister, Sister Mary Luke Bauman; one brother, Francis Bauman.
Visitation will be from 8:00 am to 9:50 am on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno with Rev. Fred Wandera C.M. officiating.
Burial will be at Home Cemetery in Perryville.
