IDPH: 77,246 new cases of COVID-19 over the past week

SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) Thursday reported 77,246 new confirmed and probable cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Illinois, including an increase of 318 deaths since December 17, 2021. Randolph County reports new COVID-19 cases are down by 22

CHESTER — The number of new COVID-19 cases in Randolph County, Illinois has gone down in the latest health department report. The county’s health department reported 20 news cases on Wednesday, down from 42 new cases in its previous report, issued Monday. That brings the total number of active cases in the county to 90.
