PERRYVILLE—Perry County Sheriff Gary Schaaf reports a mobile home on Highway 61 caught fire Thursday, March 17, 2022, at approximately 9:42 p.m.   He said the mobile home was located at 7928 N. Hwy 61.   Emergency services were dispatched, and the sole resident, Jaimee Caine, was determined to not be present in the home.

JEFFERSON CITY — A 56-year-old Oak Ridge man suffered moderate injuries in a traffic crash on Route C in Pocahontas, in Cape Girardeau County Thursday afternoon.   The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Dermot Williams was the driver of an eastbound 2014 Volkswagen Jetta which collided with a northbound 2020 Kia Sportage driven by 51-year-old
