JACKSON – Saxony Lutheran lost to Kelly 5-3.

CHESTER – Chester dominated the Sparta Bulldogs winning the freshmen, junior varsity and varsity games The varsity record goes to 12-4 and 3-1 in the conference.

The Crusaders play at Sikeston Monday at 5:30.

 

PERRYVILLE – Perryville topped Hillsboro 2-1.

 

“Great effort even with some things not in our favor,” a team official posted on the team’s Facebook page. “Down to playing our third goalie and Aden came through with a great game. Which meant no Aden on the front line and Carter being out with an ankle injury meant we didn’t have two of our forwards. But with help from Kaden. He controlled the back line and stopped No. 13 on Hillsboro’s team.  All backs played very well tonight.  The whole team did a great job.”

 

Brevon scored the first goal.

 

Tanner scored the second one which turned out to be the game winner.

 

Perryville hosts Northwest at 5 p.m. Monday.

 

Tennis

 

JACKSON – Saxony Lutheran lost to Jackson Friday night at SEMO 3-6.

 

“Our No. 5 ranked player was not available to play tonight,” Coach Amy Birk commented.

 

The Crusaders fall to 10-3.

STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve plays Jackson, Cape Central and Notre Dame Tuesday.

 

CHESTER – The Lady Jackets pick up another two wins at Sparta Country Club Thursday evening, beating Sparta and Trico with a team score of 202 on the Par 37 course.

 

Camryn Luthy does it again! Firing two over par, Camryn has earned herself her seventh medalist title of the season and her new nine-hole PR.
