Year to date Ste. Genevieve sales tax receipts show $41,203 increase

JEFFERSON CITY — The Missouri Department of Revenue transferred $73,177 into the Ste.Genevieve City coffers September 5th.

 

The August proceeds of the city’s one percent sales tax has been deposited into its accounts at the Bloomsdale Bank.

 

So far this year, the sales tax has brought in $572,361, which is an increase of $41,203 from the first eight month of 2022.

 

Similar increases were noted in the city’s half-cent taxes, which are dedicated to capital improvements and mass transportation.

 

The city’s consolidated use tax brought in $19,608 which brought the eight-month total to $168,495, an increase of$14,624.
