JEFFERSON CITY — A 75-year-old Perryville man suffered minor injuries in a traffic crash on Perry County Road 721 Thursday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Larry W. Stearns was taken to Perry County Memorial Hospital by a Perry County ambulance for treatment.
The patrol says the crash happened when a northbound 2005 Freightliner XC Chassis driven by Stearns ran off the road and struck a tree. The crash happened about 1 p.m. one mile north of Highway 51.
The truck was a total loss. It was removed by Perry County Towing.
The patrol says Stearns was buckled up.
