A private service will be held for 73-year-old Paul Raymond Braun of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. who passed away Friday, November 25, 2022 at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, Mo.
He was born April 29, 1949 in Perryville, Mo., a son of Sanford Braun and Glorzy (Balsman) Braun who both preceded him in death.
He married Sylvia (Donalson) Braun May 2, 1992. She survives in Ste. Genevieve.
He is also survived by three daughters: Susan (Mark) Bolles of the state of Tenn., Barbara (James) Collins of the state of Virginia, and Emily (Dustin) Moore of the state of Missouri; a step-daughter: Jennifer (Curt) Kuehn of the state of Missouri; a step-son: Charles Duke of the state of Virginia; grandchildren: Mark, Melissa, Emily, Michael, Tyler, Courtney, Charli, and Jasmine; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by seven sisters: Virginia Weinkein, Wilma Albertson, Jeanette Roth, Anna Mae Christisen, Edna Rose Shouse, Barbara Ann Bucheit, and Bernetta Roth; two brothers: Joseph Braun and Sylvester Braun.
Paul enjoyed hunting, gardening, and fishing.
