CHESTER — The Chester Eagles Aerie 3252 donated $1,400 to the 2022 “Shop with a Cop” program Tuesday November 22 at the Eagles Club.
The “Shop with a Cop” activity allows many children from the area to spend an evening shopping with one of numerous police officers in Chester and Randolph County to purchase Christmas gifts.
Making the presentation of the check from the Eagles was Bruce Lowry, Eagles President. Accepting the check for the “Shop with a Cop” program was Chester Police Chief, Bobby Helmers. Assisting with the presentation were several other officers and members of the Chester Eagles including Larry Dillow, Chris Naeger, Roger Zimmer, Paul Zemlyn, Past President, and Chester and Mayor Tom Page.
