A funeral will be held Thursday, May 5, 2022 for 83-year-old Marvin Joseph Zoellner of Perryville, Mo. who passed away Friday, April 29, 2022 at his residence.
He was born July 30, 1938 in Biehle, Mo. to Henry Anton and Emma Claire (Schumer) Zoellner, who both preceded him in death.
Marvin and Lynne Nash were married August 13, 1960 at St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle, Mo. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include three daughters, Tracy (Frank ) Gough of FL, Julie Rosco of AZ, Vicky Welker of Perryville, MO; son, Jason Zoellner of Perryville, MO; his companion & best friend Pat Geile; sister, Margaret Meyer of St. Louis, MO; brother, Paul Zoellner of Perryville, MO; two sister-in-laws, Artie Zoellner of Perryville, MO, Betty Zoellner of Perryville, MO; ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by three brothers: Edward, Robert and Charles Zoellner; and a brother-in-law: Gene Meyer.
He was a member of St. Maurus Catholic Church Biehle in Mo.
He worked as a truck driver for Gilster-Mary Lee for over 20 years.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, member of the AmVetsPost No. 194 Perryville and River Hills Eagles Lodge No. 4034 Perryville.
Marvin enjoyed playing cards and loved being with his Yorkie-Pooh Coal.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday May 5, 2022 and 8-9:30 a.m. Friday May 6, 2022 at Ford & Young Funeral Home.
A funeral service for 83-year-old Marvin Joseph Zoellner of Perryville will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle with the Rev. Patrick Christopher officiating.
Burial will be at St. Maurus Catholic Cemetery in Biehle with Military Honors by the Delta Team.
