A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for 26-year-old Edward Alexander ‘Alex’ Shipley, 26, of Chester, Illinois, who passed away at 2:13 pm, Saturday, April 30, 2022 at St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.
He was born June 22, 1995 in Chester, the son of Kenneth Shipley who survives in Chester and Tinisha (nee Anderson) McMillion who survives in Madison, Miss.
Alex had worked as a mechanic for Gilster Mary-Lee Corporation.
He is also survived by a daughter: Jaelyn Shipley, his Maternal Grandparents: David & Kathy Anderson of the state of Louisiana and Denny and Sue Guy of the state of Colorado; seven siblings: Shelby McLaughlin of Pearl, Miss., Andrew Shipley of Chester, Bria Shipley of Chester, Adam Shipley of Chester, Allyna Shipley of Chester, Amelia Shipley of Chester, Lilly Shipley of Chester; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Lowell and Betty Shipley, a sister: Abigail Shipley and twp uncles: Gene and Tony Shipley
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
