A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2022 for 69-year-old Russel Ross Rinehart of Perryville, Mo., formerly of Chester, Ill., who passed away at 9:39 pm, Sunday, April 17, 2022 at his residence.
He was born January 15, 1953 in Louisville, Ill. the son of Carrol Lee and Mary Louetta (nee Erwin) Rinehart, Sr. who both preceded him in death.
He is survived by two daughters: Bria Hoffman Chester, Ill. and Bobbi Jo (Andy) Balsman of Perryville, Mo.; four siblings: Carrol Lee “Sonny” (Helen) Rinehart, Jr. of Chester, Ill., Donna (Steve) Herrell of Chester, Ill., Bill (Arlene) Rinehart of Murphysboro, Ill. and Tim (Amy) Rinehart Fredericksburg, Virg.; eight grandchildren: Justin, Kaitlyn, Jacob, Jarrett, Gabrielle, Ashtyn, Kinsley and Silas; three great grandchildren: Kaden, Isabella and Kennedy and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter: Casey Rinehart.
Russel had worked at Gilster Mary-Lee Corporation for over 45 years and was a senior dispatcher.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Chester, Illinois.
He loved fishing and spending time with his daughters and grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at the Pechacek Funeral Homes, Chester, Illinois.
A memorial service for 69-year-old Russel Ross Rinehart of Perryville, Mo., formerly of Chester, Ill.
will be held at 11 a.m., Friday April 22, 2022 at the Pechacek Funeral Home in Chester, Illinois. The Rev. Mike Herrell will officiate.
