A funeral will be held Thursday, December 2, 2021 for 63-year-old Christine Oberle of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. who passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at her home.
She was born July 6, 1958 in Perryville, Mo., the daughter of James Bergtholdt who preceded her in death and Marita (Grass) Bergtholdt who survives in Sainte Genevieve.
She married William Oberle on June 20, 1980. He survives in Ste. Genevieve.
She is also survived by two sons: Steve (Lauren) Oberle of Sainte Genevieve and Adam Oberle of Sainte Genevieve; two brothers: Bruce (Renee) Bergtholdt of O’Fallon, Mo. and Jerry (Geri) Bergtholdt of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; four sisters: Gail (Bob) Abt of Sainte Genevieve, Jane (Joe) Schwent of Bloomsdale, Lois (Steve) Hess of Bloomsdale, and Joann (Dale) Luttrell of Sainte Genevieve; and three grandchildren: Bennett, Eli and Lane Oberle.
She was a member of Ste. Genevieve Beta Rho and St. Vincent de Paul Society.
Chris enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family and friends especially her grandchildren.
Visitation will be 9-10:45 a.m. Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve.
A funeral for 63-year-old Christine Oberle of Sainte Genevieve will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the Church of Ste. Genevieve. The Rev. Edward Nemeth will officiate.
Burial will be at Valle Spring Cemetery in Sainte Genevieve.
Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society
