William H. Paradee, 85, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Friday, January 16, 2026 at his residence.
He was born June 5, 1940 in Ramsey, IL to Harold and Lenna (Schempf) Paradee.
William and Cathy Schied were married on June 24, 1985 in Bryan, Texas. She survives him in Perryville.
He worked as a livestock farmer and self employed mechanic. William was the owner of the first Plaza Tire in Greenville, IL. He also owned Bill’s Sunoco Station as well as a taxi service and bulk oil plant. William enjoyed going to all kinds of auctions, collecting antiques, restoring farm tractors and horseback riding.
Survivors include his wife; son, William (Carla) Paradee Jr.; three daughters, Phyllis (Robert) Atchison, Monica (Clint) Barnhart, Kimbra (Ryan Ruch) Paradee; sister, Rosaline (Dave) Huber; eight grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents;eight brothers & sisters.
A private graveside service and burial will be held at a later date at Cedar Fork Cemetery in Perry County.
