JEFFERSON CITY — Two Ste. Genevieve teens received minor injuries in a Jefferson County traffic crash early Friday morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says both male youths were taken to Mercy Hospital South by a Rock Township Ambulance.
The patrol says the crash happened when a 2016 Jeep driven by an unidentified person failed to yield to oncoming traffic and attempted to make a left turn from Old Highway 21 onto Londell and was struck by a southbound 2007 Ford F-150 driven by one of the youths.
The patrol’s report says the Jeep had moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
The pick up had extensive damage and was removed by Miners.
Both of the youths were buckled up.
