STE. GENEVIEVE – The Ste. Genevieve Militia LLC awarded Brenden Sexton with its inaugural Le Capitaine’s Scholarship on April 11 during the group’s Spring Encampment.

Brenden, a student at Ste. Genevieve Public High School, plans to attend SEMO University where he will major in history.
Militia member Harry Croy, a descendant of the Vallés and other Ste. Genevieve colonial residents, endowed the scholarship with a generous donation.
