Robert J. Moore, 80, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Holiday Residential Care Center in Perryville.
He was born December 7, 1945 in Sereno, MO to Robert Vincent and Dorothy B. (Gibbar) Moore.
Robert was baptized in the Catholic Faith at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno, MO.
He and Carol Unterreiner were married on August 13, 1966 at Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer, MO.
Robert approached life with passion and an eagerness to take on challenges. He was a man of many interest and talents. He found great enjoyment in woodworking, truck driving and training horses. His curiosity, hard work and entrepreneurial spirit were a true reflection of the way he lived. Most importantly he loved his family. Robert had great pride in his children and grandchildren. We will miss him and all his stories.
Survivors include three children, Penny Moore of Phoenix, AZ, Brad (Elizabeth) Moore of Huntersville, NC, Jill (Mickey) Glaub of Perryville, MO; three brothers, David (Mary) Moore of Washington, MO, James (Donna) Moore of St. Charles, MO, Steve Moore of Farmington, MO; sister, Regina LaRose of Perryville, MO; ten grandchildren, Mitchell Crook, Madeline Crook, Maria (Luke) Austin, Jacob Freese, Cole (Fiancé Caitlyn Keating) Moore, Eli Moore, Trent (Rebecca) Parmer, Kirsten (Tyler) Looney, Lincoln Dippold, Skyler Glaub; Three great-grandchildren, Naomi Austin, Calvin Austin, Evangeline Moore.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Patricia (Raymond) Daily; brother, Randy Moore; brother-in-law, John LaRose.
A Celebration Of Life will be held from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at the American Legion Post #133 in Perryville.
