The community is invited to celebrate the reopening of Sara’s Garden and the refurbishment of its pergola during a special ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, at the corner of Main and Merchant streets in downtown Ste. Genevieve.
The garden, designed and maintained by the Ste. Genevieve County Master Gardeners, is a lovely green space in the heart of downtown where residents and visitors can pause to enjoy the beauty of nature. The refreshed garden and refurbished pergola reflect the community’s ongoing commitment to preserving and enhancing the charm of historic downtown Ste. Genevieve.
This project was made possible through the generosity and support of local businesses, organizations and individuals who came together to help make the improvements a reality.

Genevieve Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Todd Faulkner, Todd Byington Contracting, Tyler Bahr, Superior Roofing Strategies Inc., Helen Dohr in memory of Roger Musgrove, Ability Network Inc., Sara’s Ice Cream, MLC, Leon Basler Originals and Lynn Rose Terry, Law Firm of Lance Drury, PC, Ralston Fine Jewelry, Bloomsdale Bank and County Do-It.
