Route NN Bridge Replacement Project slated for Perry County

SIKESTON—The Missouri Department of Transportation plans to replace the Route NN bridge over South Fork Saline Creek in Perry County, located 1.5 miles south of Route N and northwest of Brewer, Missouri. The new bridge will be wider than the existing structure.   Work to improve the bridge could begin as early as spring 2026.

East Perry Community fair coming soon

ALTENBURG – The ”Best Little Fair in the Land” will open with a parade at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, September 19, which includes bands, floats and other entries followed by the opening ceremony featuring the parade’s Grand Marshal.  Last year a record ten high school marching bands and musical groups from throughout southeast Missouri participated.
