Briana Pfaff is named SGHS April Rotary Student of the Month

STE. GENEVIEVE – Briana Pfaff has been named Ste. Genevieve High School’s Rotary Student of the Month for April.

 

 

Briana is the daughter of Christina and Lawrence Pfaff, Jr.

 

Briana’s scholastic honors include: ranking 17th in her graduating class, earning Summa Cum Laude for one year and Magna Cum Laude for two years. She received the following course awards: Geometry, French I and Chemistry.

 

Briana has been a member of the following clubs and organizations: Fellowship of Christian Athletes for two years (leader for one year); Women of the Word (vice president for two years); National Art Honor Society for one year; Student Council for four years; Mentors for one year; National Honor Society for three years (service coordinator for one year); freshman class officer; junior class president; senior class president; and member of the Principal’s Advisory Group for two years.

 

Briana has been a member of the volleyball team for three years; golf team for one year; and softball team for four years. She earned 1st Team All-Conference honors in softball her junior year, along with 1st Team All-District and 1st Team All-Region recognition that same season. She was also named Academic All-State in both softball and golf.

 

In Briana’s free time, she enjoys reading her bible, getting ice cream and going shopping with friends, spending time with her family, traveling, going to church, and youth group with friends, listening to worship music in the car with her boyfriend and reading. Briana plans on attending Colorado Christian University to study nursing with plans to pursue a pediatric oncology.
