STE. GENEVIEVE – This year’s Ste. Genevieve High School 2026 Prom was a great success!
The theme this year was A Night Under the Stars. Beneath twinkling lights and a starry backdrop, students danced in a dreamlike setting that felt pulled from the pages of a storybook.

It was in this magical atmosphere that seniors Tinka Knoblauch and Evan Coin were crowned the 2026 Prom Queen and King. Congratulations to Tinka and Evan, as well as all members of the 2026 Prom Court!
The members of the 2026 Prom Court were:
- Queen Candidates: Tinka Knoblauch — Hannah and Ryan Green; Eleanor McKlin — Athena and Mark McKlin; Kyrah Kreitler — Mary Kay and Dennis Kreitler; Sophie Garcia — Ashley and Mario Garcia; Lillian Kohler — Rebecca K.; and Alivia Bays — Ashley Fritschle and Paul Bays.
- King Candidates: Jacob Warren — Matthew and Sheila Warren; Tegan Graves — Jamie and Vernon Hill; Alex Basler — Ted and Trisha Basler; Evan Coin — Becky and Erin Coin; Chase Thompson — Valerie Bales and Michael Thompson; and Colton Brace — Katie Fisher and Waylon Brace.
Prom 2026 was proudly hosted by the Class of 2027, along with their dedicated sponsors, Dawn Moser and Christia Wolk. The district extends its appreciation to those who helped make this year’s prom such a memorable evening. Hope Dougherty and Sarah Crocker created a beautiful setting with their work on the decorations, bringing the theme to life. A special thank you to Donnie Stuppy at the KC Hall for his hospitality and support throughout the event. We also appreciate Tyson Roth for providing the music as DJ, Dana Bowen for the cookies enjoyed by students, and Amanda Schwent for creating the commemorative glasses.
Thank you to everyone who played a part in making this night memorable — your support helped create an unforgettable celebration for our students!
