PERRYVILLE – On Saturday, March 2 several St. Vincent High School band students performed in the MSHSAA District Solo & Small Ensemble Contest in Jackson, Mo.
All St. Vincent students received nothing lower than a 2 (Outstanding) rating:
James Unterreiner – Piano Solo & Clarinet Solo
Abigail Kirn – Piano Solo & Tenor Saxophone Solo
Ella Clifton – Piano Solo
Isaac Kirn – Piano Solo
Noah Hager, Jace Hennemann, Ethan Hotop, Maria Wibbenmeyer and Reese Zoellner – Percussion Quintet
Of these students, James Unterreiner, Ella Clifton and Isaac Kirn received 1 (Exemplary) ratings on their solos.
They are now eligible to perform in the MSHSAA State Solo and Ensemble Contest at Mizzou Saturday, April 27.
