PERRYVILLE – A power outage affecting 5,186 members in Cape Girardeau county and 2,147 members in Perry County occurred Thursday morning and early afternoon.
Citizens Electric Corp. reported power was restored to all members in Perry county and most members in Cape Girardeau county by 11 a.m.
Approximately 700 members in Cape Girardeau County were without power until 1:30 p.m. while crews replaced a bad cross-arm on a transmission line off Highway 177 east of Fruitland.
