Missouri Farm Bureau PAC endorses Mike Kehoe for Governor

JEFFERSON CITY – Missouri Farm Bureau’s grassroots Political Action Committee voted Monday morning to endorse Mike Kehoe for Governor. Kehoe has previously been endorsed by the organization for roles as Missouri’s lieutenant governor and as a member of the Missouri State Senate.

“Mike Kehoe is a staunch supporter of agriculture in the state of Missouri, and we are proud to announce our endorsement of him for Governor in the 2024 election,” said MOFB President Garrett Hawkins. “As a first-generation farmer, his appreciation of agriculture’s role in the state and his support of private property rights are of utmost importance to our state’s farmers and ranchers.”

Kehoe, a longtime Farm Bureau member, began his service in the Missouri State Senate in 2011. He was appointed to the position of lieutenant governor in 2018 and received Farm Bureau’s endorsement during his 2019 reelection campaign. He served as a member of the Agriculture, Food Production and Outdoor Resources committee during his final session as a state senator, and once chaired the Transportation and Infrastructure committee.

“Mike has led the charge throughout his tenure as lieutenant governor to help spur the growth of agritourism in Missouri,” said Trent Drake, chairman of the Board of Trustees. “His ongoing support of improving hard infrastructure efforts such as rural roads, bridges and broadband has led to improvements throughout the state.”
