A funeral will be held Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024 for 52-year-old Shawn M. Hacker of Cape Girardeau, Missouri who passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Mercy Southeast Hospital.
He was born January 30, 1972 in St. Louis, MO a son of Robert W. and Margaret M. (Pouyer) Hacker.
He is survived by his mother: Margaret Hacker; and two brothers: Phillip (Tammy) Hacker of Perryville, MO, and Ryan (Tabetha Rhinehart) Hacker of Perryville, MO.
He was preceded in death by his father: Robert W. Hacker; maternal grandparents: Betrand & Blanche Pouyer; and paternal grandparents: Robert & Irma Hacker.
Shawn was an industrial engineer for Systems Engineering for eight years and then later worked for Belt Services.
He was a member of Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer.
Visitation will be from 8-10 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer.
A funeral mass for 52-year-old Shawn M. Hacker of Cape Girardeau will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer with Rev. Ben Melaku C.M. officiating.
Burial will be at Hill of Peace Lutheran Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be given to Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer.
