SIKESTON— Traffic across the Chester Bridge will be restricted to one lane Monday, Dec. 11 through Friday, Dec. 15 with a 10-foot width limit as contractor crews perform electrical work.
The work zone will extend from Perry County Road 946 near Claryville, Mo. to E Kaskaskia Street in Chester, Ill.
Weather permitting, work will take place 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. A flagging crew will be in place as work is taking place.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
