Foundation for Restoration of Ste. Genevieve announces holiday events

STE. GENEVIEVE – The Foundation for Restoration of Ste. Genevieve welcomes residents and visitors to Ste. Genevieve to participate in their upcoming events.

Volunteers will create wreaths, swags and other decorations from natural materials at the Guibourd-Valle House on Sunday, November 26th starting at Noon.

We invite all to help make decorations for the Guibourd-Valle House on Sunday, November 26th starting at Noon. This is a fun way to start getting in the Christmas spirit! The Foundation supplies everything but feel free to bring wire cutters, floral wire or any natural greenery you have. We will also make wreaths for the gates of Memorial Cemetery.

Papa Noel will pose for photos with guests on December 2nd from 4 to 6 pm at the Christmas Open House at the Guibourd-Valle House.

Our Christmas Open House is scheduled for Saturday, December 2nd, from 4-6 pm at the Guibourd-Valle House, during the annual Holiday Christmas Festival. We will have a solo violinist, refreshments and, new this year, Papa Noel will pose for photos with our guests. This is a free event and your opportunity to see the Guibourd-Valle House decorated for the Christmas season.

Also new this year, we are hosting a Holiday House Tour on Saturday, December 9th from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. The tour is self guided and begins at the Guibourd-Valle House. From there, ticket holders will tour six private homes decorated for the holiday season. Tickets are $10 for the general public but free for new or renewing 2024 Foundation members. Tickets are now available at our website, www.historicstegen.org.
