CHESTER – The Chester Eagles Club Aerie 3252 held a ceremony Wednesday November 15 to donate $1,800 to the 2023 “Cops and Kids at Christmas” program.
The date for the shopping event will be Monday December 18 at which time kids will have the opportunity to shop for Christmas gifts with local police men and women from the Cheser Police Department, the Randolph County Sheriff and his Deputies, and the Steeleville Police Department.
Making the presentation of $1,800 to Chester Police Chief, Bobby Helmers is Eagles President, Bruce Lowrey. Applications for kids to participate in the shopping event are available at the Chester City Hall, Steeleville Police Department, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office and at the Chester Police Department.
