ST. LOUIS — The National Weather Service in St. Louis has issued a flood warning for the Mississippi River at Chester until further notice.
At 7 p.m. Thursday the stage was 27.43 feet, almost half a foot above the 27 foot flood stage.
It is expected to crest at 34.2 early Monday afternoon.
