SPRINGFIELD, MO — Missouri State University awarded 2,677 degrees to students in spring 2026.
The commencement ceremonies took place May 8, 2026, at Great Southern Bank Arena.
The following local students earned degrees:

Samuel Drury of Bloomsdale graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Accounting, Magna cum laude
Mia Weiler of Bloomsdale graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Summa cum laude
Aubrey Jung of Altenburg graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education, Agriculture Education
Carley Schirmer of Altenburg graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education, Middle School Education
Carter Dix of Perryville graduated with a Master of Science, Counseling
Katie Roth of Perryville graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Accounting
Kaden Buatte of Ste Genevieve graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Finance, Magna cum laude
Carter Klump of Ste Genevieve graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Marketing
Lauren Mercer of Ste Genevieve graduated with a Doctor of Audiology
Drew Newman of Ste Genevieve graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Digital Film and Television Production, Cum laude
Thomas O’Brien of Ste Genevieve graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Human Resource Management
Students who graduated with honors completed at least 30 credit hours with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.
