JEFFERSON CITY — Two persons were hurt, one of them seriously, in a
one-vehicle traffic crash on Route WW in Ste. Genevieve County Wednesday
morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the seriously injured person
was flown to Barnes-Jewish Hospital by an Air Evac helicoter.
The drive, a 41-year-old Ste. Genevieve woman was listed as the driver
of an eastbound 2025 Chevrolet Corvette which crossed the center line
and then over-corrected causing the car to slide off the right side of
the road and overturn. .
A passenger in the car, a 35-year-old Frdericktown man, received minor
injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital South by a Ste. Genevieve
County ambulance.
The Corvette was a total loss.
The crash happened about 8:56 a.m. near New Church Road.
The patrol says both occupants were buckled up.
