Independence Day storms cause tree damage in the area

ST. LOUIS – The National Weather Service in St. Louis reported some tree damage in the River Region on Saturday.

 

At 5:07 p.m. a large tree was reported down in Sparta in Randolph County.

 

There was one report of tree damage out of Missouri.

 

It was reported at 4:29 p.m. a mile northeast of Farmington in St. Francois County. Tree limbs three to four inches in diameter were brought down by thunderstorm winds.

 

There were no reports of tree or other damage in Ste. Genevieve or Perry Counties in Missouri.
