STE GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve Elementary held its third and fourth quarter POWER Leader Ceremony May 4, celebrating their 2025-2026 POWER Leaders!
Each quarter, one student from each classroom at Ste. Genevieve Elementary is recognized by the classroom teacher as someone who stands out based on character, behavior, and leadership qualities. The POWER Program encourages students to make the right choices.
POWER Leaders exhibit the following characteristics:
- Personal: Listening, Greeting, Manners, Personal Space, Asking for Help, Self Control & Awareness, Hygiene, Gratitude
- On Track: Goals (Class, Academic, Behavior, Personal)
- Working Together: Conversations, Interacting, Working with Others, Listening to Others, Conflict Resolution, Forgiveness
- Emotional: Remorse, Impulsivity, Empathy, Zones of Regulation, Coping Skills, Honesty, Acceptance
- Responsibility: Organization (desk, locker/cubby, folder, backpack, charged chromebook, etc.), Follow Directions, Effort
Ste. Genevieve Elementary’s second semester POWER leaders are:
- Kindergarten: Darrel Barnett, Tryton Barnett, Josie Cowan, Carolyn Giesler, Aria Hoehn, Elise James, Riley Jett, Madison Mooney, Grace Naeger, Ruth Ramer, Amara Reaves and Eleanor Rhodes.
- 1st Grade: Jagger Bales, Emma Culberson, Axle Davis, Eden Dowdy, Sophia Howell, Mollie Jokerst, Karsyn Kerley, Grayson Lilly, Tristin Vitale and Elliot Wehner.
- 2nd Grade: Ophelia Brown, Kate Fallert, Sara Guenther, Abram Hermann, Jonah Kertz, Kinley Kueker, Ruby Long, Caroline Naeger, Brynlee Pecaut and Keaton Sparks.
- 3rd Grade: Holden Basler, Rhia Carron, Helen Choate, Makiah Emery, Jackson Gegg, Kaylie Grein, Kiley Griffard, Evan Moore, Emelia Thompson and Skylar Weathers.
- 4th Grade: Ainsley Brandt, Cora Canaday, Ava Fahnestock, Ryder Langley, Adalyn Lurk, Mason Naeger, Ezra Pirkle and Joseph Roth.
- 5th Grade: Nolan Bova, Emily Carlisle, Blake Ellett, Karli Emberton, Zoey Miller, Kason Moore, Kelvin Moore and Carter Ochs.
After a student has been chosen three times as a POWER Leader, they enter the Hall of Fame for their achievement.

Throughout the year, teachers and administrators surprise the students at home with yard signs to celebrate! Ste. Genevieve Elementary thanks the local groups and businesses who sponsored the POWER Leader Signs at Ste. Genevieve Elementary; their dedication to our students and community is appreciated.
