Ste. Genevieve County Farmers’ Market opens tomorrow

STE. GENEVIEVE — The Ste. Genevieve County Farmers’ Market will open for the season on Saturday, May 2, 7 a.m.-noon.

 

Located at the pavilion of the Knights of Columbus Hall, 600 Market Street the market is held every Saturday until the end of October.

 

Locally grown early spring vegetables will debut and change as the seasonal produce becomes available.

 

Home baked and canned items, tamales, maple syrup, specialties of families are made by vendors. A variety to help you fill out a menu plan.

 

Plants of assorted sizes and types will be provided during the first few weeks of the market.

 

4-H starter vegetable plants on opening day, Hill & Dale Garden Club with both indoor and outdoor plants on May 9.

 

Groups occasionally throughout the season with selections to brighten your day.
