The family of 79-year-old Lindell F. “Klumper” Klump of Ste. Genevieve County has announced his passing on Saturday, April 12, 2025.
He was born August 21, 1945 in Perryville, the son of Lavern (McClain) Klump and Lawrence Joseph Klump who both preceded him in death.
He married Sandra Kay (Barnes) Klump May 8, 1971. She preceded him in death.
He is survived by two nieces: Rhonda Roth of Ste. Genevieve and Linda Klump Bone of Ste. Genevieve; a nephew: Dale Klump of Ste. Genevieve; and many other family members and friends.
He was also preceded in death by four siblings: Larry J. Klump, Leland James “Lee” Klump, Imogene Klump Jennings and MaryLou “Sis” Klump Schrum.
He loved being outdoors, especially while working on his farm and driving trucks.
He also enjoyed watching Western films.
He was of the Catholic faith.
He loved entertaining and hosting family gatherings. He also loved visiting with his lifelong friends, Tom Dattilo and EJ Pashia.
He was cremated.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date with friends and family.
