JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – State Representative Mark Matthiesen has filed House Bill 2507, legislation aimed at protecting new employees by ensuring greater transparency and fairness regarding labor union dues. HB 2507 would prohibit labor organizations from collecting payment for union dues from a newly hired employee until that employee has worked at least 250 hours.
