Few Randolph County voters went to the polls Tuesday 

CHESTER — A low turnout for the Randolph County Consolidated election Yesterday. Only 14 percent of the voters or about 2,794 cast ballots. In one of the few contested races Joe Eggemeyer won election as mayor of Chester with 575 votes. 2025 SIU Civil Service Flea Market to raise money for scholarships is April 26

CARBONDALE, Ill. – The region’s vendors have an opportunity to sign up for the 2025 Southern Illinois University Carbondale Civil Service Council’s spring flea market.
