A funeral will be held Thursday, April 25, 2024 for 69-year-old Patti Lynne Stotz of Red Bud, Illinois, who passed away at 4:39 pm, Sunday, April 21, 2024 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home, Chester, Illinois.
She was born January 29, 1955 in St. Louis a daughter of Ralph and Mary “Babe” (nee Beauvais) Stotz, Sr. who both preceded her in death.
She is survived by two siblings: Jo Ann Stotz of Red Bud, Ill. and Alan (Teresa) Stotz of Frederick, Maryland; five nephews: Brett (Gwen) Wild, Bartt (Lacey) Wild, Joshua (Nikki) Stotz, Jeremy Stotz, and Jacob Stotz; a niece: Tanya (Gary Liefer) Wild; great nieces and nephews: Isabel Wild, Eden Wild, Annelise (Daniel) Wild-Stenger, Talynn (Noah) Angelovic, Chloe Wild, Steffen DeRousse, Kennadie Wild, and Kadynce Wild.
She was also preceded in death by a brother: Ralph “Sonny” Stotz, Jr., maternal and paternal grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Patti attended school at St. Mary’s Special School in St. Louis, Mo.
In her younger years, she participated in the Special Olympics for many years and won numerous medals.
Patti dearly loved her family and her many friends. She faced every situation with love and a sense of humor. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. – 12-noon Thursday, April 25, 2024 at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ Cemetery, Red Bud, Illinois.
A graveside service for 69-year-old Patti Lynne Stotz of Red Bud, Illinois will be held at 12-noon Thursday, April 25, 2024 at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ Cemetery, Red Bud, Illinois with Pastor Josh Boyer officiating.
