STE. GENEVIEVE – In reference to an article in the Ste. Genevieve Herald headlined “McLiney Gives Options For Subdivision, Streets”, McLiney mentioned $500,000 pledged by the county to help build a subdivision.
The funds that the county have pledged is from the Holcim Economic Development Fund that has certain criteria to meet to be used. The pledge is not from the county’s general revenue or departmental funds.
This pledge was approved by the Community Development Foundation Board.
This board consists of seven members of the community along with Regional Planning Commission involvement. The county commissioners are three of the seven members.
