A funeral will be held Thursday, Feb. 29, 2024 for 97-year-old Anna Marie Stark of Perryville, Missouri who passed away Friday, February 23, 2024 at Independence Care Center of Perry County.
She was born June 26, 1926 in Perryville, Mo. to Lester and Florence (Layton) Richardet who preceded her in death.
Anna was married to Glennon Moonier who preceded her in death on November 21, 1968.
She then married Anthony Stark and he preceded her in death on September 21, 2001.
Survivors include a son: Glennon (Anna) Moonier of O’Fallon, Mo.; two daughters: Shirley (Jamie) McKlin of Advance, Mo., and Kathleen (Paul) Zoellner of Perryville, Mo.; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and eight great great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter: Patricia Yanga; three brothers: Charles Richardet, Leroy Richardet, and Robert Richardet; a sister: Viola Hendrix; and two grandsons.
Anna worked at the International Shoe Factory for twenty-two years and then at Perry County Memorial Hospital for thirty-two years sterilizing medical instruments.
She enjoyed working in her yard and flower beds.
She was of the Catholic faith.
Visitation will be 8-9:45 a.m. Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
A funeral mass for 97-year-old Anna Marie Stark of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 29, 2024 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville with Rev. Ben Melaku officiating.
Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
