A funeral will be held Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2024 for 86-year-old Gwendolyn “Gwen” Lee (Miller) Grass of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. who passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, Mo.
She was born October 2, 1937 in Brickeys, Mo., a daughter of Clarence Miller and Flora (Carron) Miller, who both preceded her in death.
She married Andrew Grass on September 24, 1960. He survives in Ste. Genevieve.
He is also survived by: four sons: Tim (Karen) Grass of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., Mike (Julie) Grass of Ballwin, Mo., Dave (Kimberly) Grass of Festus, Mo., and Gary (Jeri) Grass of Festus, Mo.; two sisters: Ethlyn (Marvin) Drury of Bloomsdale, Mo., and Barbara (Victor) Govro of River Aux Vases, Mo.; grandchildren: Nathan (Jackie) Grass, Natalie (Dustin Raney) Grass, Daniel (Cori) Grass, Josh (Haley) Grass, Kara (Elizabeth) Grass, Emily Grass, Makenzie Grass, Ali (Cordell Kilgore) Grass, Cami Grass, Justin Kent, and Garret Grass; and great-grandchildren: Holly and Cole Grass.
She was also preceded in death by a sister: Marilyn (Francis) Frasier; and grandchildren: Brady Grass, Paige Johnson, Lukas Welton, and Clayton Grass.
Gwen loved to play music and was the choir director for fourteen years at St. Agnes Church. She enjoyed gardening, deer hunting, and camping all over the country. Gwen’s favorite time was being together with family.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5, 2024 and 8:30-9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2024 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
A funeral for 86-year-old Gwendolyn “Gwen” Lee (Miller) Grass of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2024 at the St. Agnes Church in Bloomsdale, Mo. The Rev. Ryan Weber will officiate.
Burial will be at St. Agnes Cemetery in Bloomsdale, Mo.
