Perryville High School Cheerleaders place ninth at NCA

PERRYVILLE – The Perryville High School cheerleaders traveled to Dallas, Texas Saturday and Sunday for the NCA competition.

 

The seven-member squad came in ninth in their division.

 

It is made up of Josie Christisen, Xavier Pfaff, Ava Moll, Jamie Rogers, Kelly Chavez, Annabelle Del Rosario and Teagan Masterson. It is coached by Colleen Rhodes, Peggy Anders, and Lara Green.

 

The cheerleaders will next perform their award-winning routine at halftime of the girls basketball game between Perryville and St. Vincent at the Mayor’s Cup at the Perry Park Center, Jan 27.

Camryn Luthy will play D1 golf at Southern Indiana

CHESTER – Chester High School’s Camryn Luthy has signed to attend and play Division 1 golf at University of Southern Indiana.

“We will miss you, but we are beyond proud of you and cannot wait to see you compete at the collegiate level! USI is lucky to have you!”

 

Boys Basketball

 

STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve  lost at Potosi 68-35 Friday night.

 

The Dragons play St. Vincent Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.

 

STE. GENEVIEVE – Valle plays at Jefferson Tuesday at 7 p.m.

 

PERRYVILLE – St. Vincent play at Ste. Genevieve Tuesday at 7:30.

 

PERRYVILLE – Perryville plays Festus Wednesday night.

 

CHESTER – Chester plays at Okawville Friday at 7:30 p.m.

 

Girls Basketball  

CHESTER – Chester lost to visiting Marissa 37-24 Saturday.

 

The Lady Jackets play at Benton tonight at 7:30 p.m.

 

PERRYVILLE – Perryville hosts Sikeston tonight at 7 p.m.

 

STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve hosts Farmington tonight at 7:30.

 

STE. GENEVIEVE – Valle plays at Kingston tonight at 6 p.m.

 

PERRYVILLE – St. Vincent hosts Jefferson at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

 

SGMS Basketball

STE. GENEVIEVE – The 7th grade boys won a thriller third place game in overtime against North County, 50-41 in the MAJHAA Tournament.  

 

STE. GENEVIEVE – The eighth seed eighth grade boys topped Kingston Saturday in the MAJHAA Tournament and will play top seed Farmington Tuesday at 4 p.m. as the tournament continues.

 

STE. GENEVIEVE – The sixth seed eighth grade girls team defeated 11th seed Caledonia Saturday in the MAJHAA Tournament and will play third seed Bismarck tonight at 6:30 as the tournament continues.

 

Wrestling

STE. GENEVIEVE – The Ste. Genevieve High School Wrestling Teams participated in the SEMO Conference Tournament.

 

The girls came in second and the boys came in fourth out of 16 teams at the SEMO Conference Tournament.
