A memorial service was held yesterday, Sunday, Jan. 21, 2024 for 62-year-old Gwena Jane Sutterer of Perryville, Missouri who passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Ste. Genenvieve County Memorial Hospital.
She was born May 1, 1961 in St. Louis, Mo. a daughter of Ralph and Brenda Miller and Patricia (Dixon) Sorrow who preceded her in death.
She married Jerry Sutterer. He survives.
She is also survived by a daughter: Trisha (Chuck) Stortz of Perryville, Mo.; two sons; John French, and Cody French; 11 grandchildren: Logan (Kaysea), Colleen (Nick), Mickala, Chase, Dalten, Kaydence, Olivia, CJ, Sophia, Serenity, Skylynne; a great-granddaughter: Mallory; an expected great-granddaughter; a step-mother; Brenda Miller; three brothers: Vernon (Joy) Miller, Michael (Maria) Miller, and Robbie LaMar; a sister: Melissa (Terrence) Harris; and a sister-in-law: Georgia Miller.
She was also preceded in death by a brother: John Miller.
Gwena was a factory technician for TG Missouri. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Gwena was of the Christian Faith.
Visitation was 12 noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
