A funeral will be held Thursday, June 11, 2024 for 77-year-old Paul D. Mullins of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. who passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
He was born May 4, 1946 in Mayfield, Kentucky, a son of Ode Mullins and Mozelle (Bradley) Mullins, who both preceded him in death.
He married Dana L. (Spurrier) Mullins. She preceded him in death.
He is survived by two sons: Michael Mullins of Springfield, Mo., and Matthew Mullins of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; a daughter: Marcia (Brent) Shannon of Rowley, Iowa; two sisters: Rebecca Pruitt of South Fulton, Tenn., and Sarah Johnson of Mayfield, Kent.; a brother: Reuben (Barbara) Mullins of Phenix City, Alabama; two grandchildren: Ava Brooke and Allie Grace Shannon; and a special friend: Julie Jokerst.
He was a member of Ste. Genevieve Elks Club, Sons of American Legion in Ste. Genevieve, and the Lost Acres Tractor Club.
Paul was recognized as a Kentucky Colonel.
He taught at Ste. Genevieve School District for over 30 years, where he was the FFA advisor.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, January 11, 2024 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
