Lisa A. HayCraft

A funeral will be held Saturday, Jan. 13, 2023 for 59-year-old Lisa A. HayCraft of Tamaroa, Illinois who passed away Monday, January 8, 2024 in Perryville.

 

She was born October 10, 1964 in Perryville, a daughter of Esmond J. and Betty C. (McCarthy) Steele who both preceded her in death.

 

She is survived by one son and three daughters: Kathleen A. Steele of St. Charles, Mo., Beth E. Steele of St. Charles, Mo., Richard E. HayCraft III of Tamaroa, Ill., and Emily L. HayCraft of Tamaroa, Ill.; five sisters: Mary C. Steele of Perryville, Mo., Anne M. Holmes of Perryville, Mo., Lori A. Villmer of Perryville, Mo., Melissa A. Steele-Lufcy of Perryville, Mo., and Joan E. Steele of Perryville, Mo.; and two grandchildren: Sawyer C. Steele of St. Charles, Mo., and Jack E. Weibrecht of Tamaroa, Ill.

 

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Daniel J. Steele.

 

Lisa was a member of the Catholic Faith and a Residential Facility Care Specialist. Lisa was also a Board Member on the City Council in the City of Tamaroa, she loved gardening, extensive holiday decorating, loved spending time with kids and grandkids.  She loved to laugh and smile with others.

 

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2024 and 8-10 a.m. Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.

 

A funeral for 59-year-old Lisa A. HayCraft of Tamaroa, Illinois will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at Ford & Young Funeral Home in with Brandon Tanksley officiating.

 

Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.

 

Memorial contributions may be given to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
