Charles Drost IV named November Elks Student of the Month

STE. GENEVIEVE — Charles Drost IV has been named the Elks Student of the Month for November from Ste. Genevieve High School.

 

 

He is the son of Chuck and Sara Drost.

 

Charles’s scholastic honors include: being ranked No. 3 in his graduating senior class, earning A Honor Roll each semester, being in the Top 10 percent every year in high school, being awarded Summa Cum Laude, and winning numerous class awards, including Computer Programming, Chemistry, and Web Design. Char has also been involved in several clubs and organizations, including Gaming Club, Math Team, Scholar Bowl, and Dragon’s Lair Productions. Char has also been a member of the SGHS Marching Band and is a varsity member of the Super Smash Bros Ultimate ESports Team.

 

Charles has shown great leadership potential. He was chosen to attend Missouri Boys State, has won numerous medals in Gaming Club, and was awarded a silver medal at the district percussion ensemble band competition. During this past summer, Char worked for the Ste. Genevieve High School Technology Department as a Technology Aide.

 

In his free time, Char enjoys playing video games and doing computer programming. His plans are to attend a university and major in Computer Science.
