Ste. Genevieve, Missouri
November 7, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.

Call to Order at 6:00 pm by Chairman Gary Roth
Roll Call: Commissioners Gary Roth, Carl Kinsky, Gerald Bauman, Anthony Grass, Justin Donovan and Alderman Joe Prince were present at roll call.
Commissioner June Ewing joined via Zoom at 6:04pm.
Administrator David Bova was also present.
Commissioner Kathy Waltz was absent.
Approval of the Agenda: Alderman Prince made a Motion to Approve the agenda as presented; Commissioner Grass seconded the motion, which passed 6-0-2.
Approval of the Minutes: Commissioner Donovan made a Motion to Approve the minutes of the June 1, 2023 meeting as presented; Commissioner Kinsky seconded the motion, which passed 6- 0-2.
Introduction of Evidence: Mr. Bova presented the Ste. Genevieve Municipal Code, the Ste. Genevieve Comprehensive Plan, and the Staff Report and supporting documents for the request. Alderman Prince made a Motion to Approve the acceptance of the evidence as presented; Commissioner Donovan seconded the motion, which passed 6-0-2.
Old Business: Mr. Bova gave a brief update on the Comprehensive Plan process, including that the city staff and Comp Plan Steering Committee will be meeting on Nov. 8th to go over some draft sections of the plan. He stated that he hoped to bring a complete draft version to the commission in the early part of 2024.
New Business: (Commissioner Ewing joined the meeting at approximately 6:04pm)
SUP001-24. Buchheit Logistics is requesting a Special Use Permit to erect a 4’ x 8’ freestanding, non-illuminated sign in a R-1 Single Family Residential District at 1020 Market Street. Applicant Mr. Patrick Adams, Vice-President of Buchheit Logistics, was present and answered questions from the commission. Alderman Prince made a Motion to Recommend Approval of the Special Use Permit to the Board of Aldermen which was seconded by Commissioner Kinsky and passed 7-0-1.
Adjournment: There being no further business, Commissioner Donovan made a Motion to Adjourn. Commissioner Grass seconded the motion which passed 7-0-1, and the meeting was adjourned at approximately 6:08 pm.
