Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes may be dropped off at New Offenburg First Baptist Church

NEW OFFENBURG – Shoebox drop-offs for Operation Christmas Child may be made Nov. 13-20 at the New Offenburg First Baptist Church in Ste. Genevieve County. The church is located at 14050 New Offenburg Road.

 

Empty shoe boxes are available at the church.

 

The church has taken over as the county drop-off site.

 

Drop offs may be made 9-11 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 4-6 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday and 1-3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. On the final day, Monday, Nov. 20 it will be 8-10 a.m.

 

Shoeboxes packed with toys and other items for needy children around the world should be bruoght in. Operation Christmas Child is part of Samaritan’s Purse, which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2020.

 

The shoeboxes go to children in all corners of the world, main in war-torn nations. For many, it is the first present they ever receive. A Gospel message is included when they are shipped overseas.
