Verna M. Herron, 94, of Perryville, Missouri died Sunday, October 8, 2023 at Holiday Residential Care.
She was born August 1, 1929 in Perryville, MO to Hubert and Florence (Bergman) Prevallet.
She and LeRoy Herron were married January 12, 1952 in Perryville, MO.
Verna worked as a secretary for Gilster Mary Lee.
Survivors include two daughters, Debra Pannier of Perryville, MO, Diane (Sam) Watts of Perryville, MO; son, LeRoy Herron, Jr. of Perryville, MO; brother, Kenneth “Bud” Prevallet of Arnold, MO; Five grandchildren, Antoinette Brickhaus, Matthew Watts, Joseph Pannier, April Watts, Blade Herron; seven great grandchildren, Andrea, Treyton, Tegan, Veronica, Ashley, Lori, Zachary; two great great grandchildren, Noah & Emma.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Erline Emmendorfer, Ruby Prevallet, Ruth Prevallet; one brother Dale Prevallet.
Visitation will from 8:30 am to 10:00 am on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville with Deacon John Darin officiating.
Burial will be at Home Cemetery in Perryville.
